Up bright and early for our flight to Koh Samui. Did some duty free shopping then boarded our flight. We arrived at 9.00am and found our driver waiting for us. Cold towels scented with lemongrass and cold water in the van waiting for us, very nice.
Arrived at the Hotel and 3 very efficient staff booked us in told us the the lay of the land. Our villa was not even 10 metres away and our bags already waiting for us in the villa. The boys didn't complain once they saw our private pool villa that we had upgraded.
Hit the mini mart for drink supplies then spent the next couple of hours swimming and chilling in our pool. Pure heaven.
Headed down the road for lunch then came back for our complementary massage at the hotel spa. Excellent Thai massages, Noel snored through most of his. Came back and had another swim and rest before we head out for dinner.
We didn't have to venture far down the road for dinner as the restaurant with the neo lights got our attention. Got my green chicken curry and Noel had Tom Yum. Rob had his usual squid and so did Amanda but hers was in coconut. With drinks and entertainment $20aus for all of us. Amanda and I left the boys at the restaurant and we headed to the Green Tea Massage Centre for foot scrub and pedicure. We both got the most outrageous nail polish we could find. Mine is purple glitter and Amanda a multi coloured glitter and we look like we aer about to go on stage with the lady boys. Headed back to our villa to watch some movies and have a few gin and tonics.
A long day but a great day, day 2 tick.
