Day 1 Singapore

We had a Good flight to Singapore, watched a few movies. Noel and I watched 'Wish you were here' which was good but not great, Amanda watched 'incredibly loud and noisy' and Rob 'something about Kevin' and both said that was 2 hours of their life they would never get back.

We arrived in Singapore about 5.30pm and got the train to the next terminal and our hotel. Got poolside rooms which was a bonus and we took advantage of the very nice pool. Really great hotel with huge rooms and very nice staff. we swam for a while and had drinks poolside. We can highly recommend the Crowne Plaza Changi Airport. We had checked the bags through to Koh Samui which was great not lugging them around for the night.

We decided not to go into Singapore as we had to get up early. We ventured into the airport for dinner a found a whole new world I did not know existed at the airport. We found this food court that was as busy as the central market on a Friday night. Losts of locals eating here which was a good sign and the food was so cheap. We found a huge supermarket there was a slide just like a waterslide but a slippery dip. We went on the simulator and had a space war. We had these huge noodle soup things for dinner that were very nice and filling. Robert bought the biggest bag of cheese twistes you have ever seen and aparantly ate the lot. Got back to the room had a couple more drinks and then hit the hay.

Day one, tick
